![]() Background There are three main aspects of Macintosh floppy or CD media that can make it difficult to extract the game data: the file system, forks, and file name encoding. Clicking with the right mouse button or holding Ctrl/Cmd allows for faster movement. The required files are:Īlternatively, the cabinet files can be extracted with a third-party utility like unshield, or by installing the game on a Windows machine. These can be reconfigured at any time, but for now everything should be OK at the default settings. WARNING: Unlike other games, SCI games have significant variation in the naming of required files. The Russian translation comes on a single CD, the data on which is compressed inside InstallShield cabinet files. Start ScummVM, choose Add game, select the directory containing the game datafiles (do not try to select the datafiles themselves) and press Choose. ScummVM can run the game data files from any directory it has access to, including external media.
